Teresa S. Basiliere
Teresa S. Basiliere has been practicing law for over 25 years. She is both the senior and co-founding partner of Basiliere, Thompson, Bissett, Castonia Swardenski LLP. Attorney Basiliere practices primarily in the areas of family law, social security disability, and real estate. Prior to creating the law firm of Basiliere, Thompson, Bissett, Castonia & Swardenski LLP, Attorney Basiliere taught law at Roosevelt High School in Minnesota. She also worked for Legal Action of Wisconsin. Attorney Basiliere possesses a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she graduated with High Honors. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Hamline University, graduating with Honors.
Attorney Basiliere is an Oshkosh native. She has served as President of the Winnebago County Bar Association, President of the Board of Legal Services of Northeastern Wisconsin, and is actively involved in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and was a recipient of the Golden Sneaker Award for said organization. She has acted as a trainer for the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers and is a frequent speaker on behalf of the State Bar of Wisconsin. She also serves as a guardian ad litem in several local counties. Further, she is on the Board of Directors for the Oshkosh Womens Fund.
